Sin

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

Romans 3:23

Do you know anyone who is perfect? Surely not! Our sin is what keeps us from having a relationship with the Creator God, who is holy and perfect.

Death

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 6:23

If you have a job, what do you expect to earn in return for working there? A paycheck, right? Well, because we are separated from God, the source of life, the only thing we earn from sin is death. But, guess what? He’s provided a way out through His Son, Jesus, and there’s nothing you can do to earn this gift of eternal life.

Love

“But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him”

Romans 5:8-9

God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, His only Son, to die in our place on the cross. He was the perfect sinless sacrifice that we, being sinful, could never provide. You don’t have to attempt to clean up your act before you come to Him. He loves you as you are and wants you to know and love Him too.

Faith

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

The Bible tells us that by God’s grace we are saved from the death that sin brings. You see, we don’t deserve eternal life, but He loves us so much that He wants to give it to us. That’s called grace. You only have to have faith in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross. We can’t work for it by going to church enough, following the rules enough, or by trying to be good enough. His gift of life is just that... a gift.

Life

“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

Romans 10:9-10

So How can you receive this free gift of life? if you outwardly confess your inward belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you will be saved. Simply tell God that you accept His forgiveness for your sin. Tell Him thank you for this free gift of life through Jesus.

Is there anything keeping your from receiving this free gift?
